1) Obtain a Supp-B from law enforcement saying that you were helpful.
A U-visa applicant must obtain a certification from a police chief, a sheriff, a prosecutor, designated law enforcement official, judge, or other federal or state authority that is detecting, investigating, or prosecuting any of the criminl activities listed in the U-visa statute or regulations. Congress specifically listed federal, state, and local law enforcement officials and prosecutors as U-visa certifiers in the statute.
2) Complete the U-Visa Application, Form I-918.
3) Complete the Waiver Application, Form I-192.
4) Write your Personal Statement.
5) Try to obtain additional documents to support your case.
6) Put your application and supporting documents together.
7) Send your application to USCIS.
