Q. I am a Green Card holder in the U.S., my wife is in Manila, can I use this petition to bring my wife to the U.S.?

    A. No, the immediate relative visas are only available to U.S. Citizen petitioners.

Q. How long will it take to bring my spouse to the U.S.?

A. Figure on approximately 6 -8 months from initial filing to arrival in the U.S.

Q. What are the Income Requirements?

A. To qualify as a sponsor, you must demonstrate that your income is at least 125 percent of the current Federal poverty guideline for your household size.

The Federal poverty line is updated annually and can be found on Form I-864P.

If you are on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard, and you are sponsoring your spouse, you only need to have an income of 100 percent of the Federal poverty line for your household size.
