USCIS is still cashing checks and issuing I-797 Filing Receipts for Adjustment of Status petition filed between 7/1/07 and 8/17/07.

The good news is that the I-765 EAD Work permits, I-131 Advance Parole Documents and Biometrics appointments are being issued quickly.
